This American Red Cross EMR class will teach you to perform life-saving skills before help arrives. It is a great certification to get you started learning advanced medical training in First Aid/CPR/AED, trauma care and the EMS system in general. This training is beyond CERT, view additional information on the link below for a better understanding of the course objectives. This class will be conducted for a 2-year Red Cross EMR and BLS certifications. During the course, participants must demonstrate competency in all of the items on the Participant Progress Log without coaching from the instructor to receive certification.
*Students are expected to read/study ahead and arrive prepared for all skills and written test.

Course Dates: Approx 60hrs – Remote/Distance Learning (Zoom)

Sept. 29*, Oct. 1, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, (skip 17), 20, 22, 24, 27, 29, 31, Nov. 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, (skip 14), 17, 19, 21, 24, Dec. 1, 3, 4 (online test), 5th class concludes.
*The first class Sept. 29th will require 3hrs from 6 – 9pm.
Cost: $450 (no textbook – includes 2 year certification)
Students MUST have access to Zoom video so instructors can record their skills. We will provide a 12/17 digital version of the textbook. Students would need to purchase their own printed textbook from Red Cross store ($100).
Each participant will be provided the necessary gear & supplies to practice the skills required for class completion. One manikin per household. Students will have access to Zoom video link and Google classroom for course documents, communication & test.
